Welcome, brothers, to the final interview episode of The Alpha Male podcast. Today’s guest is someone I am so proud of, a brother who has truly embraced the alpha male way, and who has now turned to teaching those the light. Raphael Roman was on the fence about joining the academy initially, however, he took the leap and has not looked back. He went from being in a beta mindset in an unhappy relationship and an uninspiring job to being an alpha male who can stand proudly on his own while building the career of his dreams.

Tune in to hear how Raphael discovered Kevin’s teachings, and what tipped him over the edge in the decision to enroll in the academy. Raphael describes why it’s so important that I don’t give you the answers, but rather train you to make the choices that are best for you to embrace your alpha male state. Raphael tells us the most important lessons that he learned from the academy (how to walk away when you’re giving too much), and why he wants to complete the certification course (to help others).

If you have wondered what the difference is between what is learned from the training course and the certification course, brothers, then this episode is the one for you. As an alumnus of both, Raphael describes what he has learned in both, and how he applies them to the people and relationships that surround him. Remember, brothers, that recognizing your own thoughts is the first step to enlightenment and evolution of the mind. If you are on the fence about changing your life and enrolling in the academy, Raphael’s advice will convince you to take that leap, because you never know what is around the corner. Join us to get to know a true alpha male, and to understand how you can build a life that is better than the one in your dreams.

[INTRODUCTION]

[00:00:10] Announcer: Welcome to The Alpha Male Coach Podcast, the only podcast that teaches men the cognitive mastery and of a mindset that it takes to become an influential and irresistible man of confidence. Here’s your host, certified life coach and international men of mystery, Kevin Aillaud.

[00:00:32] KA: What’s up my brothers? Welcome back to The Alpha Male Coach podcast. I am your host, Kevin Aillaud. And over the next few weeks, I am living, literally, living in the Amazon Rainforest, brothers. I’m living in the jungle right next to the Amazon River. And I decided to set up a series of interviews with a small selection of Academy and certification course students so they could tell you a little bit about their experiences. I’ll be back in February and until then, remember to pick up a free copy of my book, The Universal Truth, and you can do that at thealphamalecoach.com/freebook. Now, enjoy meeting these, brothers, and elevate your alpha.

[INTERVIEW]

[00:01:19] KP: What’s up brothers? Welcome back to The Alpha Male Coach podcast. I’m your host, Kevin Aillaud. And today we are completing the interview segment that I began in 2022 with a very good friend, brother. I mean, I love this guy. You guys are going to love this guy too. I want him to introduce himself. This is Raphael Roman. And this is going to be the last interview. I saved him for the last. You know, they say the best for last. So here you go, brothers. This is going to be an interview with Ralph.

And Ralph, I mean, I guess let’s just get going, brother. Let’s just get going. I want to turn it over to you. Tell us a little bit about your story, anywhere. Start anywhere. Just tell us about who you are. Tell us about who you are.

[00:02:00] RR: For sure. For sure. Awesome, man. I’m so excited to be on this podcast and just being here, sharing this time with you right now. We’re just getting done with – Coming back from Dreamglade in Peru.

Just a little bit about myself, guys. My name is Raphael Roman. I joined the Spartan Academy a little over a year ago, I’d say some time during the pandemic. I’m originally from Newark, New Jersey. I was living in California, in San Francisco. And then I made a shift back to New Jersey, to be with my family for a little bit. And during that time, I was going through somewhat of a really interesting time where there was a lot of conflict between my, like, the relationships I was having both with my ex-girlfriend at the time, and also with money, with my business, with my career, with my family. There was a multitude of things that I kind of was dealing with, which led me to really start seeking. And I was always already seeking, right? I listened to a lot of podcasts. I was doing a lot of work on myself before even finding out about Kevin and podcast.

So when I came across his podcast, it just like – I think there was a one episode where it literally talked about relationships and how you relate to things. So, at the time I was dealing with my ex and having to figure out if I wanted to continue with her. I was also dealing with figuring out if – I was starting my business. So I wanted to go really like full time in the business. But I was working my fulltime job. And I was just trying to make things meet, make things happen.

And I was putting the of the business and the career – I was so focused on the career and getting to whatever I believe success was. I was putting that into my forefront, and I was forgetting about everything else, right? Like, I’d put my ex aside and I was just like, “No. This is the vision. This is what I want. This is what I need.” And they kind of like made me very obscure in a way where I was kind of lost. And I felt lost even though I felt like I was making a lot of progress, right? I was making a good amount of progress, right? I had a great job. I didn’t really do them any deals, but I was around people that were supportive and all this stuff, but I was still very – Like it felt like something was missing. And I guess that’s when I kind of came across the podcast. And I don’t know. There was something that sparked interest in it, and it was just like, “Yow, hold on. There’s something here.” And that’s when we hopped on a call, consultation call.

And at that moment, you spoke some stuff to me, and I was like, “Okay, this guy knows what he’s talking about. Okay, I like.” But you were telling me, “Hey, you should just join the academy because you’ll get a lot more out of it and I know I can help you out.” And I’m like, “You know what? Yeah, but I think I got this. I think I got enough from what you’re telling me. I think I got enough.” And I thought I could just handle everything on my own.” And I was like, “You know what? I’ll get back to you in like another month or so.” And you’re like, “Are you sure? Okay. Whatever. Fair enough.”

Like a month later, I was still listening to the podcast, and I was just like – And I was going through still the same stuff. And I’m like – I’m thinking that, “Okay, once I make a little bit more money, or if I fix some stuff for my relationship, it’s all going to work out.” And I found it, but I just still felt myself in that same position. And I immediately emailed you, like, “Hey, man, is there still spot available?” That’s when I was like, “I got to join, man. I got to figure out what’s going on with me.” And these different thoughts that I was having, it felt like it was scarcity. Like it felt like I was lacking something. And I just didn’t know what it was.

So I just knew that this was somewhat of an answer. This was somewhat of a calling that I needed to do. And I’m grateful to know that you’re my mentor, you’re my coach, you’re a friend, and I’m here. I’m here. We’re here.

[00:06:39] KA: Yeah. No, we’re both here, brother. We’re both here. Again, I say we saved the best for the last here. Now, I love all my brothers, all the brothers I work with. I love all of them. And I love Raph. The reason why I say that is because of what he says. Like, just listen to the words he’s saying, the way he says it. Very powerful energy. But, again, there’s the girlfriend, there’s the money, the career, the business, the family. There’re so many things that were happening. And that amass – That took him. And I’m going to let him tell you the story of his growth. But all of that growth, that growth that came through. Real quickly, brother, thank you for telling us you’re in Jersey. How old are you?

[00:07:15] RR: I’m 29 years old.

[00:07:17] KA: 29. Awesome

[00:07:17] RR: I just turned 29 last two weeks ago.

[00:07:20] KA: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s what I was looking for. Yeah, yeah, just had a birthday. We celebrated that birthday in Peru. It was amazing. I loved it. I was unable to be there. But we were close. We got together once we got together.

So you told us why you came into the academy. And again, brothers, I want you to know that Raphael is one of the guys that is both in the academy and in the certification program. So I’ll ask him to talk a little bit more about that as well. But knowing why you came into the academy, tell us about your experience once you were there. What happened for you there in the academy? What did you find? You were seeking, certainly. But what did you find?

[00:08:00] RR: I guess, I was seeking clarity and just like the thoughts that weren’t serving me, right? I kind of always was listening to a lot of podcast, YouTube about like what a successful person would look like, what a successful person does every single day. What a successful like – I guess that whole idea of someone being successful, I had this different ideology about it. And it was just like I have to do this. I have to do that. I have to like do this in order to get to that successful level.

What I was able to find is that, for every month, there was a workbook, there was a worksheet that I – A passage that we were working on, specifically whether it was emotional ownership, whether it was cognitive mastery, indomitable self-confidence. And it was just – It allowed me to really like focus and narrow down on specifically these key aspects of not living in your beta condition and elevating to that alpha mindset.

And it really allowed me to take a step back, really reanalyze everything, all the thoughts that I had. Like I used to do thought downloads on my own, but like not really. It was just like little things here and there where I would just draw – Not draw, but write down stuff, right? And when I started doing the thought downloads, the models and the workbooks, it really opened up a lot of what I was dealing with in the past and what was really stopping me from my growth and from, I guess, my engagement with different relationships.

And I think relationships has been really what I have been focused on mostly. I always felt like I was alone. Like I kind of felt like I was living this life where it’s my way or the highway. I kind of always felt like I’m always doing things my own way, because I was born alone, I’m going to die alone. And not in that way, but like, I’m not going to allow anyone to kind of mold my life or mold the way I want to live.

But still, even though I had a lot of friends, I had a lot of like people around me, I still felt kind of lonely or alone. And even in my fraternity, right? Like, when I was pledging, I had three other guys. There was supposed to be six. It came down to four. And then at the end of the pledging, it came down to literally just me being the only one crossing. And I’m now the solo. That’s what they call it. It’s something that I kind of like noticed, and I’m like, “Okay. Well, that’s fine.” And just being in the Spartan Academy, I was able to get to these different areas of my life and tackle those areas in a way where I’m like doing the thought downloads and doing the models. And it brought so much clarity to the point where I was battling back and forth with the relationship that I had. And I even left that relationship. I kind of pushed our relationship away, because it wasn’t serving me at that moment and at that time. I even was able to leave my job where I was so – Like, I think I had this conversation with Kevin. I think it took like at least nine months. Yeah, at least nine months for me to actually make that decision of leaving my job so that I can pursue my business full time.

And I did pursue my business for a whole year full time without medical insurance, without any other supplemental income. Just like fully going ham in my business. And I was able to make it work. I was able to like actually put myself in position where I was like, “Holy shit! My bank account is at zero.” And then right when it’s at zero, I was able to close a deal that made me go back to like 25k. And I’m like, “Okay, this is possible. This is doable.” And I was able to purchase three properties. And I was able to – So I’m in the real estate business as well. So I do real estate on the side now. And I work as a consultant for a technology company, Accenture.

And so for my real estate, I was able to purchase three properties. I was able to do, I believe, those nine deals last year. And that was all like literally something that I did not think I was capable of doing, and I did it, all without having a W2 or a job.

So I think with the academy, it gave me the guidance that I needed. It gave me – But it’s not like someone was telling me what to do. It’s like I was making my own decisions. And I think that’s the most important part. The most important thing about working with Kevin and working with the Spartan Academy is that he’s not going to give you like what he thinks you should do. He’s going to make you make your decision, and you’re going to reap the consequences or the benefits from it. And it’s the best way to learn how to be an alpha male. That’s how I feel. It’s the best way, because there’s no right or wrong. It’s just you’re living your life and there’s no right or wrong. Like, you make your decisions. Be a man. Be a man.

[00:14:16] KA: Yeah, I love it, brother. No, I love it. So you mentioned relationship in there. And you mentioned your career too, which I’m definitely going to jump back to when I asked you about a success story. But just some backstory for some of the guys in the audience, in the podcast audience that may not know this. It’s like you say I pushed away my relationship. I left my job and pursued my career. And you’re right. Like, one of the things I think the audience knows is that I don’t tell people what to do. In fact, I say that on almost every podcast episode I do. I’m not telling you guys what to do. You guys need to figure out the way you want to create your life, because your life is here for you. It’s a life of your dreams. Not the life of my dreams. Life of my dreams is my dreams. I live my life this way. But you guys need to figure out what you want for you.

And so when you are talking about that, you reminded me that, number one, being in a relationship. And this is for the guys out there that are in a relationship that listen to Raph hear. That guys that are in a relationship that are in this relationship because they’re afraid that of, either one, being alone. If I leave this relationship, I’ll be alone. Or two, and/or, but I mean likely both, by being alone, I don’t know how long I’ll be alone. That if I leave this relationship, I may never find someone else. I may be alone. And I may be alone for a very long time.

And so when Raph says he pushed away this relationship because he realized he didn’t want to be in anymore, really what that was is it was coming from this place of building courage, like knowing more of who he is, and trusting that. Trusting who you are so you can say I can stand without this relationship. This relationship does not identify me as a person. I can be me without this other person with me. It’s not defining me. And that’s a really powerful realization to come to. And I want to make sure that the audience knows that, because something I think that you said, but just kind of briefed over to get to the business. But even that, brother, I also want the other guys in the audience to know that nine deals in the first year. You said you didn’t have health care. You said you didn’t have medical care. You said you didn’t have these other things. But understand that nine deals in the first year. Raph had zero real estate training. It’s not like he went to a school. He left his job. Got into real estate cold hex, like by himself, not having a mentor, not having somebody teaching him. And nine deals in the first year. That’s almost one a month. That’s impressive by any real estate standards, let alone somebody who has no experience and no education in the field.

So I want to make sure the audience knows that, brother, because what you did in that year may have felt impossible for you. But I think it would probably feel impossible for a lot of people stepping into an industry where they have no education. An industry where they have no experience. Education where they have no relationships, no mentors, and just doing it just based on faith alone, based on your faith in yourself, faith in the universe. So it’s very, very strong, brother.

And now I want to turn it back to you even kind of like a nice segue here, to turn it back to you and say tell us a success story. Tell us something. I mean, not that these aren’t success stories. I think what you’ve already shared are major success stories. Going out and stepping away from a relationship that wasn’t serving you, and getting into a business that you really were walking into the dark with. I mean, these are success stories here. And if you could add something, if you could give something to The Alpha Male Coach podcast audience that says, “This is what I really remember as big success stories from my journey here.” What would that be? What story would you share?

[00:17:55] RR: Yeah. I mean, that’s a great summary. And I do want to say that I do have a mentor for real estate, though. He’s definitely one of the reasons why I am able to pretty much figure out how to how to maneuver through the real estate deal. But definitely, I was still jumping into it, like you said, cold hard, like not really knowing anything at all.

However, when we go back to relationships, right? I felt like, for myself, I was giving my all to the relationship in a way where I was like giving my time. I was giving a lot of energy. I was giving a lot of my – I kind of felt like I was just doing so much for this person. And it was like it was not enough. And I remember that I was just – I felt like I was losing who I was, losing myself, because I’m trying to like make her happy. I was trying to make things work. I was still also, like, trying to figure out how to work my business, how to work my career, how to have a social life. And I think that was a big part of it.

And then also in the real estate, or in a business side, I was so focused on like getting to the next deal, figuring out what I need to do to close a deal. And so I think the biggest success story was being able to unapologetically leave the relationship that I had. Where I definitely – I mean, I felt like it hurt. Really, it definitely hurt kind of like leaving someone that was so, so good to me, because this person was beautiful. Like this person was, like, personality-wise, was great. And I kept on telling you about that. That’s why it was so hard for me to leave. But it I was telling myself that I was probably not going to find someone like her. And I definitely pushed myself away from her. And I went 100% into my business.

And I think once I did that, I was so focused on like growth and development that I have this regimen of waking up, doing my daily with the Spartan Academy. I was going to the gym. I was doing the Muay Thai. I was doing my gym work as well. I was working and doing my business. And I was able to close deals. So I would say the biggest part of this is just knowing that my decisions that I make are okay. And whatever the hell I want to do, whatever decision I want to make, it’s not no one else’s decision. And I remember, I kept on trying to, like, get an answer from you so that you can give – Like, you can give me. And I’m saying you, as in Kev, I was trying to get Kev to give me like the answer.

[00:21:06] KA: Approval, permission.

[00:21:08] RR: I was trying to get the permission from him to do something. And I think I’ve carried that so much in my life, that when I started making these decisions on my own, in a way where it’s like, “No, that’s the decision I made,” right? I left my girlfriend, or my ex-girlfriend. And a year later, I was like, “Holy shit. Was this the right thing to do?” right?

But I knew that that was a consequence that I was going to make. I was going to leave a girlfriend that I had. That’s okay, right? And I was going to go full time. And I was going to leave my job full time to get into this business, where, obviously, I didn’t have any supplemental income coming in. And that’s okay, right? Like, what can happen from there? A lot of shit can happen, right? Nothing’s going to be easy. But that’s the decision that I made. That’s a decision that anyone can make. But do you have the guts? Do you have the balls to actually do it?

I mean, I think that that’s something that a lot – We all hold ourselves back from something. And I think that’s the most important part, is like holding yourself – Holding back something where you really want to do it, and you hold yourself back because you don’t think that’s the social norm or you don’t think that’s the right way to go. Or you’ve just been conditioned to like not do that, right? Or you’ve been conditioned that if you do that, so much scarcity, so much fear that you’re put into you that just doesn’t allow you to make it happen.

So yeah, I think that was – It’s not about money. It’s not about the girls. It’s not about success. It’s about just knowing that the biggest success story is knowing that I made my decision and I was able to back it up, and I was able to do whatever I had to do to make things happen. And two years later, or a year and a half later, and I’m here freaking living my best life. I’m In Miami right now. I just came back from Peru. I’m In Miami, hanging out with one of my boys that he’s also my coworker. I’m just grateful. I mean, it’s amazing. I was able to meet four of our brothers too and build this bond, right? Nam, Bob, Shawn and Brent. Like, we now have this this tight – Like I feel like we have a tight relationship that it’s so much more than just then just a friendship. It’s really a brotherhood, because we all are dealing with our own stuff. But because of the stuff that we’re learning in this academy, and also in the coaching program, we’ve been able to really help each other out and really dig deep into like calling ourselves out, calling each other out. That’s one thing. We call out – Yow, it was like we would call each other out. And it was just so funny. And it was so fun to see like all of us just like knowing that we’re all dealing with our own stuff, but like we’re here present and able to like communicate with each other in a way we’re getting down to like what’s the root problem? We’re coaching ourselves. We’re actually coaching ourselves. And Kev wasn’t even around when we were doing this. So it was like, “Holy shit! This is it.” And we’re talking everything single day. I was just with Nam like two days ago. And I talked to like these guys every day. So it’s so amazing.

[00:25:09] KA: Yes. Yes. Yes, brother. I mean – So, again, like I’m hearing the success story. Maybe not a specific story. And you guys are picking up what he’s putting down. You guys in the audience are definitely picking up what Raph is telling you. And that is that there’s this – When you get into relationships, when you get into conditioning – When you just get into the conditioning of the beta, the beta condition. The beta condition mindset is so focused on what other people are thinking. It’s so focused on what other people want.

With relationships with a significant other, for example, a partnership, a female, and we’re things for the other. We’re like doing things for the other constantly. We begin to lose who we are. We lose ourselves. And by losing ourselves, we turn into people pleasing. We just want the other person to feel good. We just want the other person to be happy. Well, that’s all we’re thinking about. And when we start to step away from that, as Raph said, “I left that relationship and began focusing.” He’s told you guys about his routine. He said, “I focused on personal growth.” Same thing with the business. He said, “I used to have this idea of I got to do this, I got to do that.” So many shoulds about what other people were telling him he must do. Other people are saying do these things in order to be successful. Do this. Do that. It’ll be successful.

And when you just turn that inward to yourself and begin to listen to who you are inside, you start to find out what you’re truly capable of. And that’s the beautiful – That is the success story, brothers. I want to tell you right now that what Raph just gave you is the success story. But he gave you more, because he talked about the brotherhood, and the community that exists in the academy, and the certification course.

Now, like I say, Raph is in both of these. So I want to offer him some time to talk about his experience in the certification course as well before I kind of finish up with a couple final questions. Brother, you’ve already said so much. You’ve shared so much powerful experiences and so many beautiful words. Have you got anything you want to say about your experience in the certification course, which is kind of like a level two? If the academy is a level one, if the academy is a place where you begin, you begin working on yourself. And the certification courses were the guys who have spent time working on themselves get together and start, like you say – Like, I love the way Raph says it, because we’re always calling each other out. We’re coaching each other. Well, of course you are because you guys have gone through the level one program. And being in the level two program, you know how to coach now. So of course, you’re calling each other out. Of course, you’re coaching each other on your own. And you being in that course with these other guys, forming that brotherhood, forming that community, tell us more about your experience with that.

[00:27:47] RR: I would say is definitely level two. And it was so funny, because when I was going through, and you were saying – I think you were just promoting the coaching certification. And I was thinking about, I was like this is something I really want to do. I really want to see if I can hopefully turn this into maybe something where I can coach someone, or help others and see if I can turn this into a business. And it was so interesting, because I didn’t know how I was going to actually pay for this. I was so focused on the money. It was like, “How am I going to make this happen? How am I going to make this work?” I don’t think I can make this happen. And I kept on telling him like, “Just give me some time. Like, let me figure this out. I’m working on it. I’m doing what I can.” And I kept on telling you like just wait. I got this. Don’t – And the very last minute –

[00:28:54] KA: That was because of the – I don’t mean to interrupt you, brother, but just so the audience knows, that was because of the deadline, right? That’s because of the enrollment time.

[00:28:59] RR: Yes. Yeah. So the enrollment. And I was just like, “Nah, man. I’m going to make this happen.” And I went ahead and took out my credit card and I was able to make it happen. It’s like a whole another – It’s like exponentially like different. It’s so different because you give us these books, you give us these different homeworks that we’re doing, right? We’re learning about the spiral dynamics. We’re reading The Science of Mind, which is a huge book. It’s a Bible. And learning these different methodologies, and learning about just the mind and the evolution of our minds, and evolution of society, evolution of the way we think, where we are right now, where some – Because there are some people that will always be stuck in a certain mindset, right? Or in a certain like way of thinking. And no matter how much you want to change them, or help them change, the probably will not change. And they’ll probably live like that forever. And you got to be okay with that.

And so knowing that, you’re able to like still be okay with something like that, and still elevate yourself in a way where now you’re able to work with multiple people, multiple personalities. And I think just knowing that, coming into the coaching certification and learning what we know now, it’s like I’m able to go into a relationship with someone or just a friendship with someone and even help them in a way where at least I’m asking the right questions. At least I’m asking questions that’s going to poke at their problems, or guide them in a way where, if they’re really dealing with something, at least I’m able to go and tell them, “Hey, look, have you thought about this?”

And really, thinking about all this, it’s like I’m just so grateful to be here and learn. And now we’re going to learn about the human design and all this stuff. Like I’m really excited. But I remember my mentor that I have for my company at Accenture. And I don’t know if I should even mention it. But like he’s probably not going to listen to this podcast. But like, his son –

[00:31:28] KA: He may be in the audience, brother. He may be in the audience. We got a big audience.

[00:31:32] RR: He’s okay. He’s whatever. Well, his son actually committed suicide, right. And he went to go – I was living in San Francisco. And he came to visit with his family, right? And his son was there. But like I remember, his son was like so like shy, right? He was shy, but he’s like 21, and 22, 20, something like that. But he was shy. And he was like very close to his mom and he would – But I remember, my mentor, he kept on like talking very great things about him, “Oh, yeah, he’s the smartest kid. He goes to this school. And he draws the best. And he can do this and that.” He’s like putting him in this like pedestal of like, “This guy is just amazing.” And I remember, I like tried to spark some conversations with him. I was just like making him feel a little bit more comfortable. Made him even laugh. And then I think it was two or three months later, I found out that he passed away. He committed suicide. And I was just like, “Damn!” Like, “What if I was to have been able to, like, stay in touch with him and try to, like, help him out in a certain way where he didn’t have to deal with whatever he’s dealing with?” right. And I think that that’s one reason why I also like wanted to join the coach certification, because I know I can help out so many people. I’ve been in the situation where I even contemplated a lot of stuff, like contemplated like just leaving the earth, trying to – Like, “Why am I doing all this? That I’m like, “Why am I even doing all this stuff?” right?

And now I think about, I’m like, “Well, these are just thoughts. These are just literally thoughts that occupy our minds that are not serving us, but it’s there. And we really think it’s real. We turn it into a belief, right? And until we start really looking at our thoughts and really looking at what that is, it’s hard for someone to just let that idea or let that thought go. And I think just what you’re teaching, what we’re learning, I mean, we can help so many people out and in so many ways.

Man, again, what I’m learning right now is just way, way ahead of what I kind of envisioned. And I’m highly grateful. And it’s not going to stop. I’m actually excited that we’re going to continue another six months. So we’re ready for whatever.

[00:34:22] KA: Yeah, brothers. You can hear it, right? This is why I say, like, Raph is one of my favorite people because you can hear it. You could hear the compassion, like the healing. And that’s really the certification course, because the academy being a level one, the academy is about you discovering yourself, you creating your life, you creating you. It’s really about you. The academy is about the individual. It’s about you. The certification course is taking the guys from the academy who have learned, and created, and understand that, that basic principle, and have set that foundation of self-discovery and self-creation and then come together to create a community of likeminded individuals who are now willing to share their experience of growth, and healing, and discovery to anybody who is seeking, anybody who is open to learning, anybody who is seeking that same type of experience. And so you can hear it. You can hear it from Raph. You can hear from some of the other brothers in the previous interviews. That is so amazing. It’s so powerful. And I just want to thank you so much for sharing that, brother, because I can feel the compassion coming from you as you speak.

And I only have a couple more questions. Really, we’re pushing the time on this one, brother. But I want to ask you these two questions, because I want to hear what you have to say. And I think a lot of guys in the audience are also at the edge of their chair with this one. But here it is, if someone is seeking self-knowledge, if someone is really seeking self-knowledge, they’re seeking self-healing, they’re seeking self-creation. They really want to begin to create with intention, the life that they’re meant to live, and they want to live in their alpha state, but they are uncertain about enrolling. They’re just right on the fence. They don’t know. They’re uncertain about enrolling in the academy. They’re uncertain about rolling in the certification course. And they were standing in front of you with their uncertainty. You know that they’re seeking. They’re standing in front of you with their uncertainty. What would you say to them?

[00:36:13] RR: Man, I’ll tell them, “Hey, keep living the way you’re living, and you’re going to notice that you’re going to continue to suffer. If you think you can do this on your own, go ahead and do it on your own. But if you really want a brotherhood, if you really want people that are really here to help you out, and if you want a coach, someone who’s really here to help you make your own decision and like you be the alpha male, you be the person who directs your life, creates your life and all that, like, this is the time for you. This is the moment for you, right? Like stop waiting for something to happen, right? Because life is short. No matter how much we think about the future, no matter how much we kind of envision our lives in like 10 years, or whatever, we can think all that. But at any moment, I can get hit by a car and literally die.

So I’d say if you’re dealing with some stuff, if you’re suffering, if you’re – And we say suffering, but it’s really just the idea of us thinking so hard about a specific topic, or category, or whatever you want to call it, that is not serving us and we just want to either retrain our minds, reprogram our mind so that the story that we’re telling ourselves can change. And we believe hard things, things that we really don’t think that we can believe. So if you can train your mind to believe something that you really want, trust and believe that it’s possible. And I just want you to understand that this is it. This is the podcast. This is the academy. This is the coaching group that you want to be part of. Because, honestly, I’ve listened to so many podcasts, and I’ve listened to so many things, and I’ve listened to a lot of coaches, and there’s nothing like this. And I’m highly grateful for this.

I was skeptical of it before. I don’t want to say skeptical. I was just like, “Ah, I got this.” Like I kept on telling myself I got this. I don’t need any of this. I don’t need anyone to help me out. I got this. And I needed to like wait till I make more money to invest in myself. And honestly, you’re investing yourself you know every single day when you’re in this program, part of this brotherhood. And there’s some intelligent, amazing people in this group too. So if you’re looking for something like that, don’t even think twice. We’re here. We’re. [inaudible 00:39:11].

[00:39:14] KA: There you go. Don’t even think twice. Me and Raph. Me and Raphael. There it is. That’s why you got to enroll, because Raph is in there. I love it, brother. Here’s a fun one. What’s your favorite movie? What’s your favorite movie? Well, you guys know I’m a movie guy. Let’s hear what Raph likes.

[00:39:27] RR: Toy Story 2. No.

[00:39:31] KA: Tom Hanks, huh? Woody?

[00:39:33] RR: Yeah, yeah. I was going to say, well, definitely The Matrix and Inception.

[00:39:41] KA: Ooh, ooh. A couple other guys had mentioned The Matrix, brother. But Inception is a nice one. That’s a nice pic. That’s a great pic. Yeah, dream within a dream. In fact, one of the upcoming podcast episodes – By the way, brothers, I think I’ve mentioned the beginning, but this is the last interview. So after this one we’re going back to teaching. We’re kind of finishing here with Raph. So one of the podcasts coming up is the dream of life. So I love that he mentioned inception. Tell me why you like Inception, brother.

[00:40:08] RR: Yeah, there’s a lot, man. I mean, I had to watch that movie, like, three or four times even. I remember the first time I was like, “Yow, what am I watching?” Like, “What is this?” And I don’t know. It was just something about it that after the second time, after the third time, I’m like, “Wow!” Imagine just being able to jump into your dream and just being in this infinite loop of your dreams, right? And trying to figure out whether you want to live in your dream, or live in reality? Or how you want to shape that dream? Like, do you want to, like, keep that image? Keep that lifestyle of what you’re dreaming actually happen?

I don’t know. It was just something about it that – I guess, I actually got to watch it again, because I haven’t watched it in a while. But I would say that that’s really the – I would say that’s really the main gist of it, is like, “Man, imagine just like constantly living in that space where you’re going into your dreams and back into reality in your dream. And like, which one would you want? Which one would you actually rather have?” And it’s funny, because it kind of related to the week out in Peru when we did the Ayahuasca. It literally brought me back to that.

[00:41:41] KA: Well, that’s the thing, brother. You said which one would you have? Would you live in the dream or live in the world? And as you know, from being a student, not just in the academy, but being in the certification course as well, we don’t have to make that choice. Because we can make our lives the way we choose them to be. We can make our lives exactly the way we dream them to be. That’s the move. That’s the move right there.

So maybe that’s why you love the movie. I know I love that movie too. Plus, I think Leonardo DiCaprio was brilliant. He’s had he has a lot of amazing films. Alright, my friend. Let’s finish with this one last question. It’s actually a question for you. Which is, what’s one question you wished I’d had asked but didn’t? And how would you have answered it?

[00:42:20] RR: Good question.

[00:42:21] KA: Ask yourself a question and answer it.

[00:42:25] RR: I don’t know, man.

[00:42:27] KA: We covered them all, huh? We got them all out. We got all the questions.

[00:42:30] RR: Yeah, we’re good, man. I think you’ve covered all the questions, man. I don’t know what else to ask.

[00:42:37] KA: I love it. No. I love it, brother. I love you my friend. Brothers, that is Raphael Roman. And I want to say thank you so, so, so much for being the final guest in this interview series. I’ve had an amazing time with you here tonight. You’ve provided immense value to the podcast audience. Thank you so much for making this happen. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your effort. Do you have anything you want to add to anybody listening? Do you want to add anything about how to reach you? Anything about how to reach your business? You mentioned you’re a real estate guy. You’re in Jersey. Anybody buying selling real estate in Jersey? This is the man to get to. Do you want to offer any of that to the podcast audience, my friend?

[00:43:23] RR: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So yeah, I guess I would say, look, if you’re double thinking, triple thinking, quadruple thinking about joining the mentorship, the program, don’t think about it. Just do it. And then if you want to reach me, you can find me with my Instagram handle, iamraphaelroman. That is I am R-A-P-H-A-E-L R-O-M-A-N. Or you can email me at buyeveryproperty@gmail.com That’s B-U-Y-E-V-E-R-Yproperty@gmail.com. I am focused primarily on real estate. And we do wholesaling. We do creative financing. We’re purchasing multifamily properties, land for development. And yeah, I mean, if you’re interested in even learning how to get into this, reach out. I am now looking into doing coaching as well. So, hey, that might be another avenue. But I’m working with cap. So we’ll see.

[00:44:36] KA: There it is. The offer is on the table, brothers. You heard him. You heard him. He’s putting it out there. He’s just made you all the offer. Now you got it. Anything else my friend?

[00:44:46] RR: Nah, man. I love you, man. I appreciate all that you’ve done. You’ve poured just immense value as well on this podcast. And if it wasn’t for this podcast, I probably wouldn’t have been on this path right now that I’m on and I’m creating my own path right now in life. And honestly, it’s a difference when you’re excited about just where you’re going to go next and what you’re going to do next. And like I think that’s the most important part for me. Some people are okay with the way they’re living. They’re okay with just having just traditional lifestyle. But I want to travel. I want to work and have multiple businesses. I want to have fun with different people. I want to meet so many people and just like be able to pour into people as well. And just, like, it’s just amazing to know that we have a group like ours. And again, you helped us come together. So I really am excited for more people to come together and see where we all go. It’s a marathon. Not a sprint.

[00:46:01] KA: Yeah, brother, I’m excited too. You just took the words out of my mouth. I’m excited for the future as well, always, always. Now, again, brothers, that’s Raphael Roman. He’s given you his information. He’s made the offer to you. He is in the academy. He is in the certification course. So you can find him in both of those places if you decide to enroll. Multi families, wholesaling, creative financing, I mean, he’s got you down. If you need anything real estate-wise, he’s got you down. Brothers, that is the final segment of the interview series. Next week we go back to teaching. I love you my friends. Thank you, Raph. I love you, brother. And until next week, elevate your alpha.
